‘We came into Orams in February 2025 for a major 8 month refit, which included four months of steelwork cutting out corrosion and replacing it with stainless. As well as a full paint job from boot top to funnel, alongside thousands of additional jobs. The project was completed on time and within budget, which was a great result given the scale and complexity involved. I was initially a little sceptical about being tented while afloat on a floating platform, particularly as we were too large to be lifted out of the water, but in practice it worked extremely well, and we experienced no issues throughout the process. The team were professional, well-organised, and very accommodating, and the quality of the workmanship was excellent across all departments. I would highly recommend Orams to anyone considering a refit in the Pacific.’

Haida 1929

M/Y Samaya has now completed three successful yard periods at Orams, with our most recent six-month refit being the most extensive to date. The team delivered a wide scope of works, from luxury interior upgrades to major glass and exterior modifications. All executed with remarkable skill and professionalism. The craftsmanship, particularly the interior carpentry, is on par with the best European shipyards, and the organisation throughout the project was outstanding. Thanks to the dedication and expertise of the team, we achieved much more than we had even initially planned. Every challenge was met with a positive, proactive approach and no task was too difficult. I cannot recommend Orams and the team highly enough.

Aquijo has spent the last 8 months in Orams Marine in Auckland doing a variety of maintenance and upgrade projects. We have been very happy and impressed with the quality, transparency and pricing of doing work here in Auckland. The project was managed in a very effective and professional manner and we are leaving Auckland with heavy hearts knowing that the value for money availble here is very hard to beat anywhere else in the world. This was without a doubt, our hardest yard period to date, involving a variety of upgrades and Orams did a great job coordinating it all. They produce great results with a very team-focused environment. We’re extremely happy with Oram’s dedication and can’t speak highly enough of both Craig Park and Richard Low who made it all happen.

Farfalla

There's no point entering the Pacific, unless you've contacted Craig at Orams Marine first. For us, most-importantly, everyone involved really enjoyed what is normally a hectic, busy and stressful time. We all have very fond memories of our new friends, the Orams team and its extended sub-contractor family.
