We’ve worked hard to build the best collection of facilities in a New Zealand commercial shipyard, to ensure vessels leave performing reliably at their best.
Orams Marine’s central Auckland yard combines leading facilities, with experienced project managers in a location minutes from commercial wharves. With multiple travel lifts and a slipway at our disposal, we work with you to have vessels quickly hauled out and worked on for both scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs. Multiple 90 metre work berths are available for alongside work, with the region’s largest enclosed marine sheds, and bunkering and pumpout onsite.

60 Metre Marine Work Sheds
Two 60 metre superyacht work sheds, and one 50 metre marine work shed, provide controlled environments to carry out high-quality work. Ensuring an excellent project result, our marine work sheds also protect the wider natural world by containing the materials used during application. It’s part of our ethos; total focus on quality, no sacrifice on sustainability.
600 Tonne Slipway
With a custom-designed and built cushion trolley to load share the weight of the vessel evenly, our superyacht slipway hauls vessels up to 600 tonnes displacement. Handling up to 5.2 metres draft and 13.5 metres beam, and up to 58 metres LOA, our slipway is also set up to allow the removal of larger items of equipment by cranes of up to 450 tonnes capacity.
Hardstand
Orams Marine’s concrete superyacht hardstand facility has been designed to accommodate multiple large vessels. Equipped with the latest state of the art water treatment system that treats run off to protect the environment, our travel lifts also enable vessels to be positioned on our hardstand area with access to water and power, and within walking distance of all onsite trades.
