Orams Marine is New Zealand’s leading superyacht refit facility. With a strong pipeline of projects, we’re looking for a Marine Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This role supports Project Managers in the successful delivery of refit projects through administrative support, site coordination, and consistent reporting. We’re seeking someone with a background in the marine industry who can contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This position is suited to someone with a few years of experience or a junior professional ready to step up.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and documentation support to Project Managers
- Monitor and report on project performance across time, cost, and quality
- Liaise with contractors and assist with day-to-day site coordination
- Support the implementation of project management processes
- Maintain site safety documentation and assist with compliance requirements
- Represent Orams Marine professionally in client-facing situations
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in the marine industry is essential
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Professional appearance and confident communication skills
- Flexible with working hours depending on project demands
- Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive
- Must have the right to work in NZ

We’ve got opportunities for experienced marine project managers to join our team. You might be current or former senior superyacht crew ready to bring your leadership and trade skills to a land-based role in New Zealand, or you could be a trade-experienced boat builder or engineer.
Orams Marine’s central Auckland team looks after leading international superyachts, local recreational boats and commercial vessels. Our team works with state-of-the-art facilities and technology to deliver an excellent result for our clients, and we’re positioned on the shoulder of one of the world’s most-beautiful harbours.

Custom painters
We’re hiring custom painters to join our team.
Our central Auckland shipyard works on interesting custom projects and, with a recent expansion, we now need painters to add to our team.
You’ll be working on a wide variety of projects within the shipyard, which caters to small vessels right up to 90 metre superyachts. You might be from an automotive or similar trade background, and enjoy creating a high quality finish.
You’ll be working in the region’s leading shipyard facility and have access to top-tier technology, paint brands and equipment, within a supportive team.
