Join the Southern Hemisphere’s leading marine centre for superyacht refit and refurbishment projects as our new operations manager.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual who can support our Operations Head and guide our team in daily operations at our base in Wynyard Quarter, Auckland.
This position would be ideal for an enthusiastic, experienced and qualified person who is skilled in project management including the wider technical business environment, with a proven track record in the marine and superyacht refit industry and an understanding of New Zealand’s role in the worldwide market.
The successful applicant will be committed to delivering at the high level our clients expect from us and comfortable negotiating on all levels with boat owners and their representatives as well as contractors and service staff on a daily basis. Candidates with excellent people skills and a positive outlook will do well in this position.
The role will often demand working on multiple high pressure projects with tight delivery dates requiring flexibility to ensure smooth team management and quality outcomes. Strong IT skills are mandatory with a focus on continuous improvement.

• A high level of Interpersonal skills to communicate with owners, clients and staff employees
• Organisational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate & cost-effective way
• Managing overall vessel haul scheduling throughout the yard with the lift & project managers
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role
