One of Alloy Yacht’s most loved boats, and long-time favourite at Orams, the mighty Janice of Wyoming has completed her 20-year refit with us.

The 39m Dubois designed sloop is a true world cruiser, having circumnavigated the globe and crossed the Pacific between NZ and the USA most years, clocking up over 200,000nm.

Based in Auckland, Janice of Wyoming has trusted Orams for her scheduled maintenance since new, with all major surveys and yard periods carried out at our facility. Her 10- and 15-year refits were completed in our slipway shed.

In April this year, she was hauled out using our 820T travel lift and moved into the North Shed for 4 months to complete the 20-year survey, full paint job, rudder and driveline maintenance, tank washing and repairs, interior re-varnish and teak deck sanding.

Re-launched on the 3^rd  of September she is now alongside in our marina completing the finishing touches ready for a summer of New Zealand cruising and racing in the Millennium Cup.
